Ever since AEW started in 2019, AEW has mostly been live and taped television as well as PPV events. Jeff Jarrett signed with AEW in 2022 and was hired on to be the Director of Business Development while still being an on-screen talent. Fans started to speculate that live events were finally coming to fruition. Tony Khan recently spoke with In The Zone and here is what he had to say about live events.
“That’s something we are talking about. We have a great live events team. It’s something we’ve talked a lot about and building out the live event business. There is definitely a lot of demand for AEW live events, and now we have this great big strong roster that wants to do these live events, so it’s something we’re going to do,”
