Mustafa Ali Requests Release

In a video posted on Twitter as well as his Instagram story, Mustafa Ali has asked for his release from the WWE. There is no confirmation on if his release has been granted, but it looks like he really wants out of the company. It is also seeming like he might be finshed overall with wrestling and has something bigger planned.

In the video, Ali stated how he has a message much bigger than his dreams in WWE and not being able to be accomplished in the company.

“I have a message that is much bigger than my dreams in pro wrestling. Despite my best efforts, I will not be able to deliver this message while working with WWE. Therefore, I am requesting my release from WWE.“

Mustafa Ali has been wrestling for close to 20 years. He made his WWE debut in 2016 as apart of the Cruiserweight Tournament. He was also a member/leader of the short lived stable Retribution.
