King Of The Hill is the latest series to be getting a revival. The original creators are on board for the return. Mike Judge and Greg Daniels recently reunited to form the animation company Bandera Entertainment.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Daneils stated how we are in the golden age of content.
“We were very excited to go into different tones and styles and try to expand the animation art form.” Daniels explained. “We’re in a golden age for content, right? That’s animation, too. That was one of the things we were talking about in founding the company: “Let’s push animation into all these different genres.”
“King of the Hill is an American cartoon created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels for the Fox Broadcasting Company. Which aired from January 12, 1997, to May 6, 2010. It centers on the Hills, an American family in the fictional city of Arlen, Texas. As well as their neighbors, co-workers, relatives, classmates, friends, and acquaintances. Series protagonist, patriarch, and everyman Hank Hill works as assistant manager at Strickland Propane. He lives in a ranch-style house with his wife Peggy, his son Bobby, his niece Luanne, and his pet bloodhound Ladybird.“
