It's Now Or Never For Bray Wyatt

Hello everybody! I’m back with another opinion piece for DiscussPW. Today’s article concerns the return of Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) at Extreme Rules. Returns are hard to screw up because even if it’s a little lackluster, the audience is generally excited to see whoever appears. The crowd in Philadelphia for Extreme Rules on Saturday was ecstatic to see Wyatt, who has always been a master of this type of pageantry and storytelling. It hasn’t always translated once it all gets in the ring, however. Some of it was poor booking decisions, but that needs to change this time. We all can agree that the new administration in WWE cannot afford to screw up the presentation and push of Bray Wyatt.

Bray Wyatt – Revel in what you are. The WWE’s previous administration didn’t know how to use Bray Wyatt, and the booking showed that. Fans were calling (The Fiend) character and Bray Wyatt himself, the next Undertaker. Within one year, the WWE ruined that by having Bray Wyatt lose to Bill Goldberg in Saudi Arabia a couple of years ago. Months later, he lost to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37, and Alexa Bliss took his character, and he got FIRED months later. Here is WWE’s chance to rectify the previous mistakes that Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard made. Triple H and the creative team to push Bray Wyatt and for him to become the superstar that he is and should’ve always been.

As factions become a thing in WWE again, a group led by Wyatt with added creative freedom has a chance to be an all-timer. The goal needs to be to make Wyatt credible enough to be in the conversation to beat Roman Reigns for the Universal championship, seeing how he was never pinned for the title when Reigns first won in a triple-threat match with The Fiend and Strowman at Payback in 2020. If he gets a faction, it should feel on the level of The Bloodline and Judgement Day as one of the company’s premier factions. Plus rumored names are to be joining The (Wyatt 6)

  1. Alexa Bliss
  2. Liv Morgan
  3. Joe Gacey
  4. Karrion Kross
  5. Scarlett
  6. BO Dallas

The WWE has an oppurtonity to justify bringing back Bray Wyatt, by booking him well and with direction. Let’s see what WWE has in store for not only us the fans, but Bray Wyatt.
