Dateline NBC “Dark Waters” November 4 2022 New Episode

Friday (November 4, 2022), Insiders Speak Out for the First Time on Network TV about the Family’s History of Scandals & Tragedies

The November 4 “Dateline NBC” episode airs at 9PM ET/8PM CT. Will reveal surprising and exclusive new details about the deaths and legal cases surrounding Alex Murdaugh, the South Carolina lawyer accused of killing his wife and son last year.

The two-hour broadcast, reported by NBC News’ Craig Melvin, will look at the family’s storied history, including the scandals of the last few years. The Murdaugh family first made headlines in 2019 when Alex’s son Paul was accused of crashing a boat while drinking with friends, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old woman. For the first time on network TV, insiders close to the accident, including one of the friends who was on the boat, reveal what they say happened that night, including Alex’s alleged involvement in the aftermath of the accident.
