CBS has put out a new press release for tonight’s new episode of 60 Minutes. We have referenced the release for our preview of this weeks isnstallment.
The first segment for tonight’s (October 8 2023) episode airing at 7:30pm ET will be “The Five Eyes”. With “A Prisoner Of Iran” airing second, “Pink” airing third and “The Isle Of Man” finishing things off. All of the segments airing tonight are new.

Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, correspondent Bill Whitaker interviews Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris in the Eisenhower Executive Office building. Whitaker speaks with the Vice President about the situation in Israel and Gaza in the wake of the Hamas terror attack, and travels with her aboard Air Force Two to see her discuss important domestic issues, including gun violence prevention and immigration, while advocating for the Biden administration’s policy agenda at a college in Nevada.

Days after Russia invaded Ukraine, the country of Georgia applied for membership to the European Union, fearing that it could become Vladimir Putin’s next target. Correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi meets with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili in Tbilisi to discuss that E-U bid, the presence of Russian troops inside Georgia’s borders, the recent influx of Russian residents and Kremlin influenced politics and propaganda, signaling a quiet invasion that she says is threatening the future of her country.

Wertheim meets Clarksdale native Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, heir to a long line of blues greats from the Delta – with surprise guest, actor and local blues club owner Morgan Freeman.
