The Longest-running Oil Spill

Jon Wertheim reports on how the U.S. Coast Guard, with help from a Louisiana engineering firm, contained the longest-running oil spill in U.S. history, despite legal pushbacks from the oil rigs’ owner.

Produced by Oriana Zill de Granados. Promo posted above.

Canada’s Unmarked Graves

Last year, when archaeologists detected what they believed to be 200 unmarked graves at an old school in Canada, it brought new attention to one of the most shameful chapters of that nation’s history. Anderson Cooper reports on the residential schools of Canada, where more than 150,000 indigenous children were sent after being forcibly removed from their communities.

Produced by Michael H. Gavshon and Nadim Roberts are the producers.

Carnegie Heroes

They are rewarded for heroic, life-saving acts performed despite the danger to themselves, by a 118-year-old foundation endowed by steel magnate Andrew Carnegie. But are heroes made or born? Scott Pelley reports.

Produced by Aaron Weisz.

pro wrestling
DiscussPW is a mix of Pro Wrestling and Entertainment. The site was started in 2016 and has gone through many changes over the years. Our main focus was events and tickets, but then the pandemic happened. We had to mix things up and will now be doing a lot more news. Events will still be covered, just as news instead of on a calendar. This site had an extensive events calendar, which we have moved away from. Pro wrestling has always been our main thing, we also do a lot of entertainment though. For example, we post movie trailers, tv previews and other kinds of news. We have a few discussions but strongly encourage comments on all of our posts. Be sure to keep things civil while commenting. If you have any questions or concerns, contact us above.
